The only one that has possibly any meaning amidst the grind is Champion because you've still got to be a decent GvG guild to achieve it.

Fully agreed with you!
I prefer staying rankless, fameless and titleless, even though I have many titles and pretty good rank. I will never show you mine.

Drunkard. I dont much care for the titles so as Loki said previously, I've some appreciation for the humorous title and those that would bother to go ahead and get a completely pointless one. The high level one should be Drunken Master. ^^

*fistshake* Not every Survivor cheated their way to the title.
But sad truth is that most of them did. I made a Survivor-mesmer soon after Factions launch, the title is easy to get as is without any outside help since you get to level 17-18 at the Shing Jea itself, and rest by doing couple of mainland quests.
Now that I got extra slots, I tried it for my necro in Tyria, lost it due to taking a short break while outside, and getting killed by a patrol. *grumble*
Aaand then my Ritualist, who has made it the longest, I've henched most of everything, except Vizunah Square and Nahpui Quarter, which I did with PUGs. ;D Just completed Vizunah Square without dying, and checked my title, and noticed it had frozen 10kxp earlier. Suppose I died without even noticing it at some point, supposedly when afking outside Maatu Keep c.c;

Champion, Gladiator, Rank. In that order, rest gets no respect from here. (Exept for Druknard, i'd be most happy to have that title, but i'm too lazy to farm money to buy beers)

i'm going for KOABD on my ranger. so far have:
protector of tyria
protector of cantha
tyrian trailblazer (roughly 87%)
canthan pathfinder
adept skill hunter (150 elites)
the skill hunter title has been the hardest out of them, hands down. aside from eventually running low on skill points, i've had to do the same missions over and over (thunderhead, anyone?) to get skills that only spawn in one place, or ones that are just a bitch to cap in general (wanderlust anyone?). so i have a lot more respect for skill hunters than i do, say, drunkards.

You do realize you can't get the Skill Hunter title maxed, yet... right? Therefore you will still need another maxed title for KOABD...

well, problem is skill hunter won`t get you Koabd, at least not anytime soon, if ever at all, since the elite from the next chapter already count. You need 225 Elites for the 4th level...

You won't get max in Nightfall either, unless something is changed KoaBD will be heavily watered, the only titles left that hold some value are gladiator and champion... the PvE ones are very common now.

I have Grandmaster Cartographer for Cantha and Tyria. Protector of Cantha/Tyria. 180 Elite skill catures, and the first level of treasure hunting and wisdom seeking.
Yes, I have no life. I only have one character, and am trying to achieve KoaBD at some point. No one ran me. I didn't pay anyone for any of it. Protector of Cantha was not as easy as you might have thought. I dunno about you, but I did not love playing the Temple mission over and over again because we were off 12, 18, 27, 39, 52 seconds, and those were just the close times... (yes, I wrote them down, I was so frustrated).
The Grandmaster Cartographer titles aren't easy to get either, as you have to map areas like the Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood (I managed to get it sans going to the Quarry) and do missions over and over again to get .1 percent added. My character is Tyrian.
I'll keep working on finding chests and id'ing golds, but probably won't get KoaBD till after Nightfall is out and I get the Grandmaster Cartographer/Protector titles in that game.

I didn't used to care about the titles, but what is there to do after you've pushed 3+ characters through Canthan PvE? I don't really like Tyrian PvE but I'm taking my Elementalist through the missions in Tyria to see if I can get that protector title also...I don't like PvP AT ALL so Titles is about all I'm left with... Currently going for Canthan Grandmaster Cartographer, which is taking A VERY LONG TIME, since I do have a life...and barely manage to explore 0.2% every week...

Probably the Protector of ____ titles, and then I'd give more respect to "Protector of Tyria" than to "Protector of Cantha", as the former IMO requires a little more skill than simply stampeding through a mission to beat the time-limit (I'm not fond of timed missions in general).

Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer. Im "sorta" working on that title myself I got 90.6% done atm and the only visible spot I have not been to is the last fire island. ( im lazy so sue me ) Im going to have to go to every zone and town and re explore and "scrape" along the edges. Its quite tedious and sometimes very boring but when you unlock another .1% of the map you feel like you accomplished something.

For me it has to be the "_____ of the Luxons/Kurzicks" titles. It shows you spent a lot of time to gain it and you "donated" a lot of money to your guild. Also it shows you know some basics of pvp.

I do have this title, and trust me it has nothing to do with skills. It's just about factions farming. You defnitely do not need PvP skills to get it - Aspenwood is something between PvE and PvP anyway. And actually, most of the heavy factions farmers who have this title get factions the quickest way, ie: repetitive quests.
OK I'm a bit biaised as it reminds me my old alliances - bad memories...
For me I'd say the hero track, because I know I'll never be able to get a high tier.
Drunkard is probably ma favorite title, but hard to say I respect it. It just shows you don't take the game seriously, and that's what I like.
